CDD Ornament Bears Christmas Eve Card

Hi. I'm stopping by to share a Christmas Card I've made using a fabulous Craftin Desert Diva's digital stamp named Christmas Eve. It's such a wonderful set. There are lots of combination of images you could easily make lots of totally different cards/project time and time again. It's such a traditional set with Santa and Mrs Claus. I've only used the background elements to create the beautiful scene and the holly for this card. I've pared the scene with Ornament Bear image and the sentiment is from Christmas Wreath Kitty digital stamp sets.

I've coloured using a mix of Touch Five Markers, water colour pencil, Coloured Ball Point Biro Pens and Distress Inks. I also used Distress Ink to create my free hand lined background.

I've used the Craftin Desert Diva's November Facebook Mood Board Challenge Photo as my inspiration for this card. I've used the colours, fireplace and the warmth feeling I get on the Mood Board as my inspiration. We'd love for you to stop by and join the fun!

LS Christmas Ornaments Girl Card

Hi. Today is the start of the new blog challenge at Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog. I've made another Christmas Card as my inspiration card for this new Challenge #55. It is an Anything Goes Challenge.

The beautiful image I've chosen to use is called Christmas Ornaments Girl. You can find more wonderful digital stamps to suit lots of occasions over at the Lemon Shortbread Etsy Store.

I've coloured the image using mainly Watercoloured Pencils. I've also used Touch Five Marker for her skin and brown ball point pen for her hair. I coloured some card using the same colours on the image and layered them up in the background. I die cut some small stars to create a pattern on the background paper. I added some diamond glaze to the ornaments on the image to make them appear more 3D. The sentiment is from Desert Diva Blog. I've embellished with a homemade bow.

I hope that you can come and join us at Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog. I'll also be posting this card on the Lemon Shortbread Facebook Group.

SSD Flutterby Anniversary Card

Hi. It's my Grandma and Grandads Wedding Anniversary tomorrow. I'd like to share a card I've made for them using a SheepSki Design's Digital Stamp called Flutterby.

I've coloured the image with a base Touch Five colour and layered up purple and blue water colours. I die cut some circles of two different sizes and added Distress Ink to the edges. I then layered them up to create flowers. I accidentally die cut through my computer generated sentiment and didn't have enough time to reprint so my partner hand written it for me.

ABB Textured Polar Bear Christmas Card

Hello!! I'm here to share a Christmas card I've made with this totally adorable Art By Barb digital Stamp. When I bought this adorable image. He was part of one of her many amazing digital stamp sets. His name is Polar Bear and I love how fluffy he looks!!

I've used some homemade texture paste to give his fur a 3D look. I just added a thick layer of paste and used a kebab stick to flick through the paste to create the fur. To add more depth I used a small amount of watered down black Distress Ink to add to the fur in places. I embossed some coloured card and layered up metallic silver Acrylic painted die cut snowflakes. I layered up a few snowflakes to create a snowflake flower. All dies used on this card are from M&C die cut that I got from The Works. To finish of I computer generated the sentiment.

I'll be posting this card in the Art By Barb Facebook Group. This is where anyone is welcome to share any Art By Barb creations. Please feel free to stop by the group. We'd love it if you'd stop by the group.
